At about 6.30 P.M..
On Saturday..
The 11th of July, 2020…
I received a message on WhatsApp, from Mr Viswanath, one of our Sriram Sir WhatsApp group members from Hyderabad.. It was a lengthy message, in many paragraphs, so I just replied him saying, “will go through” as I was busy that time.
Later at about 8.30 P.M, I went to an Udupi restaurant near my residence in Hyderabad to get some South Indian snacks for dinner for my family that night.. In short, my family follows a tradition of not eating Rice – our Telugu staple food – every Saturday night.
(Not eating Rice on a Saturday night has been an age old tradition in our family.. Instead of Rice, we just take simple snacks like Idly and butter milk in dinner on a Saturday.. This tradition was introduced by my Mother to pay our family’s obeisance to Lord Venkateswara on His most favorite day of the week.. I have been following this tradition right from my childhood and my wife and children have joined me in the order they entered my life).. PERIOD
The restaurant staff, after handing me over my takeaway parcel, asked me to wait for a few minutes as there was a long Que at the bill counter.. Left with nothing much to do, I lazily walked to a vacant table in a corner and sat quiet there in a chair waiting for my turn to pay the bill.
While waiting so, I casually opened the WhatsApp on my mobile and started going through the unread messages.. It was then, I suddenly remembered that message from Viswanath; opened it; and slowly started reading every paragraph.. As I said earlier, that message was in several paragraphs.
After reading the first two paragraphs, I felt the content is too boring and decided to discontinue.. However, I forced myself to continue as there was not any Royal affair waiting outside for me.
So, straining my eyes in that insufficient subdued lighting in the restaurant, that has been deliberately arranged so to add some serenity to dining in the restaurant, I continued my reading unaware of the Divine Moments Nature was heralding before me, at that moment, in that Udupi restaurant in Hyderabad.
As a result, there was a sudden silence all around in the restaurant..
Suddenly my ears have started listening to an Azan being recited in a Mosque far at a distance; a Gurbani playing on a Sardarji’s mobile in the nearby table; and Anoop Jhalota’s voice devotionally singing, “Chaahe Ram kaho Rehman kaho, Chaahe Shyam kaho Bhagawan kaho, Mera Saayee sab mein samaayaa, sab par uski chaayaa” from the speakers placed in the roof of that restaurant.
Quietly listening to all those Divine signals ringing around me, but not paying any attention to, I slowly reached the last paragraph of the message.
B.. e.. l..i..e..v..e.. Me..
My whole body suddenly shuddered reading those last paragraphs and my eyes on their own have started shedding tears.. I quickly turned my head and looked around to see if Daivam Maanusha Rupena – the God in human form – Bhagawan Sriram Sir was anywhere around me.. I didn’t find Him.
I looked so, because am aware, “it is during such an exalted state of Divine Ecstasy, our mind suddenly starts feeling the presence of God all around us and we suddenly lose control over our body and our senses.. Suddenly, Everything seems lost and every thing appears unknown”.
It is so because our mind goes into raptures – when it suddenly experiences something so Divinely blissful and ecstatic – and our eyes suddenly start shedding tears as though a light of Divine is glaring at us through the Cosmos.. It is then that we start desperately searching for God.
I too did the same that moment and looked around for Bhagawan Sriram Sir only not to find Him in any physical form.. From thereon, it took a while for me to compose myself, for my thoughts to regain coherence, for my posture to attain balance, for the vibrations in my body to slow down, for my mind to calm down and for my eyes to control the watershed.
Then, slowly getting up from the chair, I walked to the bill counter, paid the bill, walked out of the restaurant, reached my Car, sat in the driving seat and moved forward.. However, my body was still experiencing the after tremors of reading that spine chilling miraculous incident that occurred in the life of that blessed member’s life more so in his wife’s life that morning, that day.
On reaching home,
I quickly finished my dinner and called Viswanath on his mobile.. After speaking to him for a couple of minutes, I told him, “I want to speak with your wife”..
After a few seconds of silence and hush hush, Viswanath’s wife Vagdevi (Vagdevi – Vak + Devi means the Goddess of Vak or speech – the other name of Goddess Sarasawati Devi) came on line.. I asked her to explain me in detail what exactly happened that day..
Here’s what she told me.. My beloved reader, from hereon hold your breath and read every word carefully.
“Aditya Sir, thanks for calling.. Really surprised to receive your call.. Firstly my koti pranams to Bhagawan Sriram Sir and a billion thanks to you for bringing Sir into our lives.. Our family shall forever remain indebted to you not only all this life but also for many lives to come for showing God to us in the form of Sriram Sir.
Sir, we purchased a Car – a Red colored Hyundai I 20 – in the second week of March this year.. My husband doesn’t know Car driving, so, he joined a Driving school.. He attended four classes and after that a nationwide lock down was declared and we were confined to our home.
After the unlock down in the first week of June, all the services have been slowly restored including the Driving school.. For the fear of Covid, my husband could only attend a few classes and not the required number of classes to be eligible to drive freely on a road.
In the first week of July, with the help of a friend, my husband went to the RTA office and completed the registration formalities and got the new number for our Car.. From then on, our Car showroom staff had started calling us to come for the first servicing as there are possibilities of another lockdown soon.
We were worried because if another lockdown really comes and everything is locked again, our Car engine would spoil if the first servicing is not done on time.. Aditya sir, hope you understand the fear of the first time Car buyers.
We reside in the BHEL township and the Car service Centre is in Kukatpally which is 17.5 kilometers from our township.. With whatever little driving he had so far learned, my husband was able to drive slowly within our township but could not dare to go on to the main road.
Driving on the empty roads of township is different from driving on the busy traffic road.. And driving for 17.5 kms on a busy traffic road would be a nightmare for any first timer like my husband.. Secondly, it’s a Bombay highway and you know well how busy this road would be with round the clock traffic.
( I reside in the Nallagandla area, a place ten minutes from this famous BHEL township in Hyderabad and drive frequently on that road Vgdevi is referring).
So, we were tensed how to take our Car that far.. We asked the showroom to send a driver but they said, “we normally do that but due to Covid we have disabled that service”.. We tried to call the same friend, who drove the Car to the RTA office, but he is constantly busy with his office work so expressed his inability to come..
Meanwhile, the pressure from the showroom to come for servicing had started mounting with every passing day.
Finally, leaving everything to Bhagawan Sriram Sir, my husband had decided to drive all the way from our township to the showroom in Kukatpally.. Aditya sir, we have no option so we decided to take a chance.. We were pretty confident that Bhagawan would protect us.. We quickly informed the showroom staff that we would be coming for servicing on 11th which is today.
For the fear of Covid, we wanted to avoid Cab to return home after handing over Car for servicing.. So, we decided that I would accompany my husband on my TVS Jupiter Bike.. Honestly, I didn’t want to send him all alone that far, so, we worked out a plan.. As per the plan, I would be going slightly ahead on my Bike and my husband would follow me from behind.
And our one and only 6 – year old daughter, Dakshayani, would sit in the car along with my husband.. (Goddess Parvati is also called Dakshayani as she’s the daughter of King Daksha Prajapati).. That way everything was set for today for my husband to venture on a long drive on a busy traffic road.
Finally, today morning,
My husband woke up at 4.30 A.M, as he normally wakes up everyday, and finished his daily Puja.. Later, at about 8.45 A.M, after quickly finishing our breakfast, we started to the showroom in Kukatpally.. Before leaving home, my husband looked at Sir’s Divine Image on his mobile and walked out.
Firstly, I started my Bike and moved forward and my husband too started the car and followed me.. Our daughter sat in the rear seat of the Car.. I was driving slowly to keep a watch on the Car and was constantly observing my husband through the rear view mirror of my Bike.
I slowly left our lane in the BHEL township, drove towards the main gate and slowly crossed the main gate.. All through I was observing the Car coming behind me.. I saw my husband too crossing the main gate and coming out of the township.
In about a minute, I reached the Chanda Nagar signal and then looked through the mirror but to my utter surprise I couldn’t find our Car. There was another Red colored I 20 Car behind me but that’s not ours.
Wondering “where did he go” I slowly moved forward, reached the next signal, paused there as the Red light was on and turned back and saw the same Red colored I 20 Car, that I saw at the previous signal, pausing at a distance behind me.
This time on seeing the number plate of that Car, I realized it was our Car.. Then, I looked at the Driver side, saw my husband behind the steering, then, looked at the seat beside my husband and remained shocked seeing there.
“T..h..e..r..e.. was Someone sitting beside my husband in the seat next to him.. Who is He..??”.
I couldn’t see him properly as the reflections on the windshield of our Car was not allowing me to clearly see the face although I was able to clearly notice someone is sitting in our Car beside my husband.. I didn’t understand who was he and when did he enter our Car when am clearly watching it’s every movement every moment.
While I was so wondering, I was quickly pulled out of my thoughts as the traffic behind me had started honking indicating to me to move on as the Green signal was on.. Still wondering who is he, I moved forward and paused again on Red light at the next signal that came after a couple of kilometers.
This time I noticed that our Car came pretty close to me although there were still a few vehicles in between us.. Pausing my Bike, I quickly tuned my head and looked back.. I first saw my husband who at that moment was looking straight at the road even without blinking his eyes.
Then, I slowly turned my head and shifted my looks towards the seat next to my husband.. This time, I could clearly see not just the person sitting next to my husband but also His bespectacled face.. That was the Divine Face of..
“B.. H..A..G..A..V..A..N.. S..R..I..R..A..M.. S..I..R” wearing the seat belt and looking straight at the road in front of Him.. My husband too was looking at the road, just as straight as Sir was looking, as though there’s none beside him.
Again I had to move forward as the Green light was on and in a few minutes reached the showroom workshop in Kukatpally.. Before reaching, I turned back again to see Sir again but He was not there..
Where did He go when He was there until a couple of minutes before that..?? I wondered but quickly got the answer.. Sir came to make sure my husband safely drove all the way to the workshop and disappeared once he reached the workshop”.

Here Are A Few Vital Points I Want You To Know About The Discipline Of Sriram Sir
My Car had the honor of carrying Sir on a few occasions and I had the honor of driving Car with Sir sitting beside me during those blessed occasions.
One thing I observed while driving is, “Sir wears the seat belt the moment He sits inside the Car even though it is for a short distance of say about 500 meters”.. Secondly, He keeps looking straight at the road and doesn’t utter a word during the drive unless we speak or ask Him something
Even while responding to us, He keeps looking straight at the road and not at us – the drivers – because He knows if He looks at the driver the driver too would look at him and miss focus on driving.. So, Sir rarely speaks during a drive and even though He speaks He would do so looking at the road”.
It was this distinct characteristic feature of Sir that Vagdevi had told me during that conversation when she said, “I clearly noticed.. Sir was wearing a seat belt and was looking straight at the road”.. PERIOD
Now, Here’s The Twist To This Whole Story
After listening to Vagdevi, I again spoke to Viswanath.. Shocking me furthermore, here’s what he told me,
“Aditya sir, I have the habit of waking up early in the morning and performing Puja every day.. In 2016, I did Sahasra Gaythri (chnating of Gayathri Mantra a thousand times) for 21 days.. On the 21st day, while searching Google for some info on Tirumala, I Stumbled upon your site www.tirumalesa.com, and read the story series you wrote on Sriram Sir.. To say the least I was spellbound.
I thought my Sahasra Gayathri chanting had helped me and showed me the God in human form.. The very next moment sacred verses from Purusha Suktam, “Ajaayamaano Bahudhaa Vijaayate which means though birth less God exists in many forms” reverberated in my mind.. Then, I realized Bhagawan Sriram Sir is none other than that God depicted in the Purusha Suktam.
Ever since, Sir became my God Whom I have been offering regular prayers.. After reading about Sir’s birthplace is Maladakal and that Sir is the Divine incarnation of Lord Timmappa (other name of Lord Venkateswara) of the 400 – year old Maldakal Lakshmi Venkateswara Temple, I went to Maldakal with my family, a few months ago, to have darsan of the Divine form of Sriram Sir.
As you know, Aditya sir, there’s no tradition of giving Prasadam in that Temple and they offer only Teertham.. On the day I went to the Temple, there were quite a few devotees inside the Sanctum Sanctorum area of the Temple.
I quietly had my Darsan and while I was coming out, the Priest there called me back.. Wondering “why” I went back and stood before him.. Asking me to wait, he walked into the Garbha Griha, picked up a piece of Charcoal and Shami Tree leaves, that were placed at the holy Lotus feet of Moola Virat Lord Timmappa, and came out.
Handing them over to me, he said, “keep them with you and apply this Charcoal on your forehead whenever you are going out on an important task.. Timmappa will be with you”.. I didn’t understand why did he call only me and gave those leaves and Charcoal when there were many others along with me in the Temple.
Today morning, during my Puja, I prayed to Sir saying, “Sir, You are Lord Venkateswara Whom I have been offering prayers since my childhood.. Today is a tough day for me.. However, Sir, with complete belief that You would protect me in my first drive in traffic am going ahead leaving everything to You – my God, my Life, my Savior and my Everything”.
And, aditya sir, before starting to the showroom today, I went to our Puja room, picked up the Charcoal and Shami tree leaves given to me in the Maldakal Temple, applied Charcoal on my forehead, then, cut a small portion from the sacred leaf and Charcoal, put them in a small plastic bottle and placed that bottle in the front seat of my Car beside my driving seat saying,
“My beloved Sriram Sir, am keeping this bottle here in this seat beside me trusting that You would be with me all through my long drive today”.
Aditya sir, as I trusted, Sir was with me all through my drive today but was visible only to my wife and not to me nor to my daughter who was playing in the rear seat”.
Saying so,
